A Classic Movie Dogathon Thank You!

One of our favorite doggies.
The Classic Film & TV Cafe would like to thank the 24 incredible bloggers who participated in the Classic Movie Dogathon. We'd also like express our appreciation to everyone who took the time to leave a comment. It's always rewarding to see that someone not only read your movie post, but cared enough to share their thoughts on the subject.

The Cafe has participated quite a few blogathons. We think this is our favorite--in large part because the participants approached the topic in such different ways. Here's a sample of what was included:

- live-action and animated movies about dogs.
- a foreign-language classic featuring a dog.
- a man reincarnated as a dog.
- a profile of a famous pooch.
- two Cary Grant films with pups.
- motion pictures featuring canine stars such as Lassie, Skippy, Terry (aka Toto), and Scraps.
- a telepathic pup.
- a plethora of Disney dogs.
- a sheepdog who adopted a pig.
- a pooch who helped sell cars.
- two Great Danes (one which thought he was a Dachshund) and a really big sheepdog.
- dogs who loved children and grumpy men.
- a foxhound whose fate resulted in a trial.
- a sadly-named pup.
- an extremely large canine clan.
